Graduate
Group
At U. Penn, the graduate degree is conferred by the graduate group,
which consists of all standing faculty, many of the adjunct faculty, as
well as those faculty from other departments who incorporate an anthropological
perspective in their research.
The graduate group organization offers students flexibility in pursuing
interdisciplinary training and research based in anthropology. All graduate
group members are eligible to supervise advanced training and research
in anthropology at U. Penn. In addition, graduate students at U. Penn
interested in working with a faculty member anywhere in the university
can propose that individual for inclusion in the Anthropology Graduate
Group.
